Meeting of the Association of Cardiac Surgeons.

 
 
Dear Friends and Colleagues


It gives us great pleasure once again to invite you to attend the 28th Meeting of the Association of Cardiac Surgeons, to be held in Madrid, Spain, on June 20th to 22nd, 2013.

The Meeting will focus on the surgical aspects of TAVI and Miniinvasive Valve Surgery, Coronary revascularization, Congenital Heart Surgery, Heart Failure Surgery: from Resynchronization and Ventricular Restoration to Tissue Engineering and Artificial Heart, Endovascular and Hybrid Aproaches to the ascending, arch and descending aorta, Cardiac Bioregeneration, New Stenless Valves, Engineering, Health Management: Quality and Risk Control, Cost-effectiveness and Integration of Cardiac Surgery in the Future Health Structures.

The venue will be in Madrid, the capital of Spain and a city steeped in European history and brimming with cosmopolitan culture. There is much to enjoy in this city and its surroundings.

Please invite on our behalf for surgeons in your service to send abstracts for Section Oral Communications and Posters. We herewith would like to encourage you to send us your abstract.

Young surgeons may be candidates to the Pierre Grondin Award. This award funds the European surgeons stay at the Montreal Heart Institute and American surgeons in a Spanish hospital. You can find the rules in www.cardiacsurgeons.ca (Deadline for abstract submission is May 15, 2013). Your participation is very important to the scientific success of the Meeting.
